There comes a moment in every brand’s life when we stop, look at the world around us, and realise the industry has fallen asleep at the handlebars. Plastic clones. Jelly-mould silhouettes. Safe shapes engineered by committees and algorithms. Somewhere along the way, the soul was drained out of two wheels.
So we built something to wake the world up.
At EICMA 2025, under the white lights and polished floors, we unveiled not just a model but a message. A rebellion in metal.
The Italjet Roadster.

Not a vehicle.
Not a product.
A statement.
A reminder from us, from Bologna, from the Motor Valley, from a company that never learned how to compromise, that Italian design is not dead, not tired, not diluted.
It is alive, volatile, and ready to set fire to mediocrity.
WE DIDN’T BUILD IT. WE SCULPTED IT.
Those aren’t just words in a press release.
They are the truth of how this machine came to life.
Every line, every surface, every exposed piece of aluminium was shaped with intention.
We didn’t hide the engineering, we celebrated it. We put it on show, because we are proud of it.

The Roadster is metal, honesty and attitude.
Minimal plastic.
Maximum soul.
From the turbine-inspired side panels to the visible under-seat frame, from the aluminium spoke wheels to the twin Akrapovič exhausts framing the rear shock, every part carries the handwriting of Italjet.

People at EICMA walked past dozens of bikes without slowing, and then they stopped at ours. They stared at it the way people stare at art they don’t yet fully understand.

One visitor said it out loud:
“This isn’t a scooter. It’s a sculpture that wants to fight.”
We smiled.
Because that’s exactly what we made.
THE ENGINE WE USED TO PROVE A POINT

Inside the Roadster beats a 394 cc single-cylinder engine, the most powerful in its class.
31 kW at 7,500 rpm.
41.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
151 kg dry.
We didn’t chase numbers for bragging rights.
We chased character.
The Roadster accelerates with purpose.
It breathes like an Italian machine should.
It sends a very clear message to the world:
We are not here to blend in.
A rider at EICMA said it best:
“Modern bikes look melted. This one looks carved.”
Yes.
Exactly.
DLAS: OUR FRONT-END REVOLUTION
At the heart of the Roadster’s identity is our new patented DLAS system, Dynamic Linkage Articulated Steering.
We didn’t copy anyone.
We didn’t recycle old thinking.
We created our own front-end architecture, inspired by the Dragster’s iconic linkage DNA and evolved into something entirely new.

DLAS allows the rider to choose firmness or comfort.
It sharpens the Roadster without punishing it.
It gives precision without sacrificing civility.
A journalist told us:
“You didn’t design a front end. You designed choreography.”
Maybe.
But we simply call it Italjet doing what Italjet does.
WE BUILD WITH CRAFTSMANSHIP, NOT COMPROMISE
Every Roadster is a celebration of Italian metalworking.
Steel where others use plastic.
Aluminium where others hide behind panels.
Details you can touch, not illusions covered in gloss.
One designer who stopped at our stand said:
“Every angle has intent. Every detail has weight. You can feel the pride in the metal.”
He understood us.
Because the Roadster is not retro.
It is not modern.
It is purer than both.
It is our interpretation of what two-wheeled art should look like in a world that has lowered its standards.
THE WORLD HEARD US LOUD AND CLEAR
We didn’t build the Roadster to win applause.
We built it to start a fight.
But the reactions spoke for themselves:
“Finally, something made of metal and intention, not plastic excuses.”
“This deserves to be parked inside the house.”
“Italjet just reminded everyone what design actually means.”
Design magazines called it “industrial art”.
Riders called it “rebellion”.
We call it our identity.
OUR PHILOSOPHY, IN MASSIMO’S WORDS
As our CEO Massimo Tartarini said at EICMA:
“We don’t follow existing paths. We have the courage to create new ones.”

This is the spirit that shaped the Roadster.
This is the spirit our father, Leopoldo, rode around the world with.
This is the spirit that defines Italjet.
We don’t chase trends.
We don’t imitate.
We create.
Because Italian art doesn’t ask permission.
It declares itself.
THE ROADSTER IS OUR MANIFESTO
This machine is the clearest expression of who we are today:
Italian.
Independent.
Uncompromising.
Proud.
Rebellious.
And absolutely uninterested in making anything ordinary.
The Roadster exists because the world needs something beautiful again.
Something crafted, not calculated.
Something sculpted, not softened.
Something honest.
When Italian art wages war on mediocrity, this is what it looks like.
